Master of Science (MSc) in Life Sciences
In this Master's degree programme you specialise in a field of Life Sciences and deepen your theoretical and scientific knowledge.
The Master's study programme is divided into four parts. A course of full-time study lasts three semesters.
- Entrepreneurial Basics
- Extended Theoretical Basics
- Specialisation
- Master's Thesis
Specialisations
- Food and Beverage Innovation
Development of new products and processes, taking account of the entire value chain.
From socio-cultural and nutritional aspects to supply chain management. - Pharmaceutical Biotechnology
Production and diagnosis of biologically active molecules, using biotechnological methods.
From the molecular biological design of biological production systems, through the bioprocess,
to the formulation of the biologically produced drug. - Chemistry for the Life Sciences
Modern methods for the representation of small and large active molecules. Methods for
surface structuring and functionalisation as well as knowledge of analysis and
characterization techniques. - Natural Resource Sciences
Correlation between natural resources and social development: environmental responsibility,
economic efficiency and social solidarity.
