Educational objectives
We develop personalities
The study programme places the development of methodological and personal competences in the foreground. You will deepen your theoretical and scientific knowledge and improve your social, professional and general competences.
On graduation you will be able to span the gap between abstraction and application. You will be able to carry out academic work successfully and lead complex projects professionally.
Individual Study Agreement (ISV)
You will specialise in a particular field of life sciences, depending on your interests and qualifications. The educational goals depend on your chosen specialisation and will be agreed individually prior to enrolment.
Well networked
The ZHAW maintains national and international relations in the field of life sciences. Through cooperation with other universities and the jointly conducted seminar weeks, you can expand your network of relationships during your studies and share your expertise in interdisciplinary contexts.
Qualification
On successful completion of the course you will receive the academic degree "Master of Science (MSc) in Life Sciences ZFH." This title is supplemented by the specialisation within your chosen subject area. 90 credits are awarded for successful completion.
