General information
Learning concept
The learning concept of the Master’s study programme combines independent learning (supervised or individual) with contact lessons (lectures, seminars).
Blended learning
Blended learning is independent learning, supervised or individual, combined with contact lessons (lectures, workshops and seminars). Modern teaching and learning methods, such as e-learning and case studies, are used. In web-classes students will acquire basic knowledge and skills, and check their own learning using the materials supplied. In seminars the facts of cases and different positions on them will be discussed and debated.
Learning through research
Learning through research is given high priority in the Master’s study programme. Students’ generating their own knowledge takes centre stage through work on research projects in the specialist modules and the Master’s thesis.
Supervision and support
During their studies, supervision and support will be provided by:
- the head of the organisation of the Master’s study programme
- the head and coordinators of the specialist modules selected
- the Master’s thesis supervisor
Teaching languages
Teaching in Wädenswil is in German. In classes with international students or only French speakers, teaching may take place in English or French. Scripts may be partly in English; however, basic German (Level C1) is necessary.
